Register of Cossacks of 1756

The database "Register of the Zaporozhian Host 1756" contains valuable historical documents that provide insight into the composition and structure of the army in the mid-18th century. The published documents belong to case No. 28 of fund 229, which are stored in the Central State Historical Archive of Ukraine in Kyiv.

This database compiles information about the Cossacks of 38 kurins (regiments) of the Zaporozhian Host Lower for the year 1756. It includes details about the number of officers and servicemen in the army, as well as detailed data about the Cossacks who were engaged in various trades. Moreover, the database contains information about the winter quarters of four administrations: Kodatska, Samarska, Buhohardivska, and Kalmiuska palankas.

Such detailed information is an important source for the study of Ukraine's history, particularly its military history and the social structure of the Zaporozhian Cossacks in the mid-18th century.
