This database is a digital collection of the census books from 1666, documenting the first population census in Left-Bank Ukraine following the country's division. It is created based on the documents collected by Moscow census takers during the population census initiated by Hetman Ivan Bryukhovetsky. These books meticulously record the population numbers, their material assets, and the information necessary for calculating taxes in the form of money, bread, and other products.
