The list of 161 Cossacks was compiled by the Moscow authorities. These are captured Cossacks who were put behind bars in a Moscow prison in the first months of 1619. 11 Cossacks died during their imprisonment.
Most of them have descriptions of their place of residence. The lists were written by Moscow priests, so the surnames are written in the Russian style and end with "ov" or similar.
